If there's nothing else you read today..

..read this, about Mai Lai, a gang rape, and being a hero.

[And if you have time to read some more, read Why I Am Still A Feminist, which is where we got the first link, and which we found via Hemangani Gupta.]

Hi and thanx for the linx! I visited both and spent long minutes at each site. The young feminist was interesting to read as a nostalgia piece. I'm SO glad not to be young any more! Guh and sadness for those who are. There's too much going on here for me to explain what I mean, so I won't try.

Thanx also for the BLOOKER link -- darn! I sound like a Zig-groupie, don't I? But I read through the WHOLE first (maybe?) chapter of the Julia & Julia book and if I don't manage to buy myself a copy in the next two weeks, it's going to be a miracle. It sounds deliciously readable. So that's THREE good linx, all from one blog ...
